Your numbers stay on your device

All calculations run locally in your browser. The figures you type are never transmitted to us or any server. If you use the "Save inputs" feature, the values are stored in your own browser's localStorage and can be erased anytime with "Clear saved".

No accounts, no tracking profiles

Self-Employment Tax Calculator has no accounts and asks for no personal information. We may use a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics service (Plausible) that counts page visits in aggregate without identifying visitors.

Third-party pages

Links to official resources such as irs.gov and ssa.gov, and any payment provider used for optional paid features, are governed by those parties' own privacy policies.
